How it works
Support is transferred through the hip and upper thigh.
The current prototype combines a body-worn harness, isolated actuation modules, articulated side links and upper-thigh cuffs. The mechanism is developed to follow normal lower-body movement while assisting demanding trunk motion.
Fit
Height, harness and thigh contacts are adjusted to the user.
Move
The articulated geometry follows bending, rising, walking and lateral leg movement.
Assist
Controlled assistance is developed around the lower-back load path.
