Industrial wearable robotics

Wearable robotics for safer, less strenuous work.

V-UP is an active exoskeleton under development for lifting, carrying and repeated bending. It is designed to support the lower back, reduce physical strain and preserve the wearer’s natural movement.

Product status: working engineering prototype; testing continues

01Lower-back support

Provides active assistance during lifting, carrying and repeated bending.

02Natural movement

The mechanism follows the wearer while bending, standing up and walking.

03Adjustable fit

Height and body-contact points can be adjusted for different users.

04Independent leg movement

Each side moves independently, allowing a more natural step.

V-UP

What does V-UP do?

V-UP supports the lower back in jobs that involve frequent lifting and bending. Its powered mechanism transfers controlled assistance through the hip and upper thigh while the user moves.

  • Supports lifting, carrying and repeated bending workflows
  • Adjustable structure for different user heights
  • Developed through prototype testing and engineering verification
